What the sources say

Central Bearded DragonPogona vitticeps

Every figure, record and mechanism on the Central Bearded Dragon profile was written from a source, and this is the working table behind it: 1 claim checked word for word against these sources. The left column is what the page says. The right column is the source's own words, copied, not paraphrased; a ... marks a cut and[brackets] an insertion. Open any source and check it yourself.

The page saysthe dominant one bobs its head and inflates its beard, the other waves a forearm to submit, and if neither backs down they circle each other
The source saysDominant animals will head bob and inflate the beard when challenged as a sign of fitness. Submission is signalled by waving the forearm, which generally defuses the confrontation, however if one does not back down the animals will then circle each otherNote: vibe.reason, re-paired to Paco de Lucía in #856 (Queens of the Stone Age stay on armadillo-girdled-lizard).

How the table was made: a writer drafted the profile from these sources and logged each claim with its quote, a reviewer with nothing but this table checked every sentence said no more than its quote, and a script confirmed each quote appears word for word in the source. The method is in the site'sAbout page.
