# Terms of Use & Educational Disclaimer

> Educational terms, wildlife safety guidelines, Battle Arena simulation disclaimers, and media attribution policies.

## 1. Battle Arena & Theoretical Combat
The head-to-head simulations and matchup calculations presented in the Battle Arena (/compare/) are strictly educational hypothetical thought experiments based on physical metrics, biomechanical estimates, and documented natural history. They do not encourage, endorse, or promote animal fighting in any form.

## 2. Wildlife Safety & Observation Guidelines
AnimalTracks is dedicated to the appreciation, conservation, and ethical observation of wild creatures. Wild animals should never be approached, touched, harassed, captured, or fed in the wild. Observe ethical wildlife viewing distances at all times.

## 3. Media & Audio Attribution
- **Photography**: Wildlife photos come from Wikimedia Commons, plus a small number from iNaturalist. Each is used under the license its creator chose, or because it is in the public domain: mostly Creative Commons licenses such as CC BY or CC BY-SA, and a few other free licenses such as the GNU Free Documentation License. Each species profile credits the photographer and names the license for every photo.
- **Reuse**: These licenses belong to the photographers, not to AnimalTracks. To reuse a photo, follow the license shown in its credit.
- **Music**: Songs play through embedded Spotify and YouTube players. AnimalTracks does not host any music.
