# Source Detective: which source said it?

> A daily source-literacy game: eight claims from eight species profiles; for each, pick which of the profile's own sources it came from, then read the source's words.

Every sentence on the site was written from a source, and each species page publishes its claims beside the source's words at /animals/<slug>/sources/. The game draws eight of those claims a day and asks which of the page's own references each came from: a university fact page, a journal paper, a Red List assessment, a museum. The reveal quotes the source and links to it.
